The new Ave Maria and other changes made in the rosary

Dear Members of the Lady’s Work,

The more the prayers in the Work are in harmony with the new faith, the more we enter into “the era Spiri-Maria”, according to the name Marie-Paule gave it. How great is the privilege being given to us to be able to participate in this progression!

So, after the change in the prayer introducing the rosary – “I Love You, O My God” – and the integration of the new “Glory and Praise to You”, the time has come to adopt the new “Ave Maria”, as it was presented in the last issue of the review Le Royaume (no. 298).

As it was announced in that article, the date chosen to implement the new Ave Maria is March 25, 2026. It will be recited in French for the first time at Spiri-Maria during the 6:00 a.m. rosary said by the Daughters of Mary and broadcast on Radio Love.

A sheet containing the new prayer is attached.

We are also taking advantage of this change to update other prayers by replacing the “thou / thy” forms by “you / your”  in the “Lord’s Prayer”, in the prayer “O my Jesus” given by Mary at Fatima and in the prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel. You will find the adapted versions on the same sheet as the “Ave Maria”.

Finally, when the rosary is recited out loud, we will no longer say “amen” at the end of the “Lord’s Prayer”, in order to bring it in line with the “Ave Maria”, at the end of which the “amen” is not said either.
