Etre sujet de gloire et d'amour pour l'Immaculée!

Dear Friend,

It is mealtime and in Mathilda’s family, that is a very important time. The activities and screens are set aside and the bonds are strengthened around the table, in a calm, happy and harmonious atmosphere. Each one has his or her turn to tell of the day’s adventures and share their thoughts.

On this particular evening, the conversation centered around the good news they had just received. Colombe is pregnant! She and Xavier are awaiting their first little angel with much joy. Mathilda said: “Hey, this means that Sophie will now be an auntie! I hope they have a girl!

Her mother, always looking to bring out what is essential and beautiful in a situation, takes advantage of this opportunity to talk about the mystery of the human couple, of Life, love and motherhood. God is there, presiding over procreation. A psychic soul is then grafted onto the little developing being; afterwards, at a very precise moment, God breathes into it the spiritual soul He created so that it will be in His likeness, making of it a son or daughter of God and of the Immaculate.

Mathilda’s mother added: “Colombe and Xavier’s child is a blessed grain and God has a plan for it. What will it become? What will it accomplish? Like everyone else, it will have to learn to be submissive to the divine will in order to become what God expects of it and produce fruit.

To achieve this, it is already favored with a special potential because Colombe and Xavier keep themselves in a state of grace and understand well their role since they carefully prepared themselves to fulfill it. The grandparents are also living of those same values. That’s marvelous! Already, a life rich in meaning can be foreseen for this child if it remains faithful to the faith it is inheriting. It has all it needs to live in such a way as to give glory to God and become a child of light.”

Next September 14, we will celebrate Marie-Paule’s birthday. One hundred years ago, her holy mother, Mama Laura, gave birth to her first daughter in a room she had wanted entirely white. Like all the mothers in the world, she asked herself: “What will this child be? What will she do?

Arc-en-ciel

Now that Marie-Paule has died, we have the answers to those questions. She came to remind humanity, which had forgotten it, that we have an immortal soul and to show us how to make it progress towards the Father, so that it can then soar to the most exalting heights, beyond what Christ indicated. The transformation Marie-Paule accomplished in herself and what she did spiritually for the world is so great that the centuries to come will remember this as they remember Jesus. Therefore, to recall the coming of her birth is a good opportunity to examine ourselves.

Actually, Providence has seen to it that, among all the children in the world, you would grow up in a family that recognizes and loves Marie-Paule. What an invaluable grace has been offered you! A grace that is not to be disregarded.

You too are a blessed grain in her field of Love, “predestined to become the occasion of glory for the Trinity and the occasion of love for the Immaculate.” (Vie d’Amour, vol. IV, p. 14)

So that your bond of belonging to and love for Marie-Paule may grow and be increasingly stronger and thus produce fruit, it is important to nourish it by reading what our Mother wrote, by listening to what she said and by applying it in your life.

Even if you are only 12, 13 or 14, you are able to read and understand some of her writings. Your parents will be able to guide you. If you are older, rapidly take an interest in her Life of Love in which there is a wealth of lessons and teachings. Should not the people who see how all the blessed grain growing in the world is living, be able to say: “They really are Marie-Paule’s children, they are children of light”?

That evening, after having replied to her cousin Mathilda’s texto of congratulations, Colombe felt quite little before the very great Mystery unfolding in her womb. Then, she picked up the first volume of Life of Love for her spiritual reading.

And there, providentially, as she began reading chapter 14, she discovered that Marie-Paule, then 23 years old, was also expecting her first child, and upon learning this, she had addressed herself to God in these words: “Grant me, oh my Love, the light and strength to bring up this little one according to your holy will so that he may some day sing your glory in eternity.” (p. 88) This will also be gentle Colombe’s prayer for her baby whom she is consecrating to the Quinternity for eternity, with so much love and hope.
