Dear Members of the Family of the Sons and Daughters of Mary,

Since the Work of the Family of the Sons and Daughters of Mary is constantly evolving, it has become necessary to appoint Assistant Mothers who will assist the Mothers already in place in the regions where there are increasing needs.

These new Mothers will be able to contribute by doing the reading of the Lady and the Configuration during the celebration of Masses.

Thus, for the Lac-Etchemin region where the presence of a Mother is required at each of the Masses celebrated at Spiri-Maria, two Assistant Mothers have just been appointed: Mrs. Pierrette Roy and Mrs. Josée Bédard.

We thank them for their generous response and we assure them of our prayers.

Charlotte Bélanger,
International Mother of the Family of the Sons and Daughters of Mary

Excerpt from the dialogue of reception of Assistant Mothers:
“The vocation to holiness draws its strength from the Eucharist
that constantly vitalizes souls; if you remain strong with this support,
the Presence of the Total Christ will always enlighten your apostolate.
Pierrette and Josée, I appoint you, today, Mothers in the Family of the Sons and
Daughters of Mary in the capacity of Assistant Mothers to the ones already in place.
You will assist them with their activities and replace them as required,
especially for the proclamation of the Works of the Lady and to say
the words of the Configuration at the Masses celebrated at Spiri-Maria.”
