Memory aid – The three changes for the rosary

Spiri-Maria, October 7, 2025
Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary
Dear Members of the Lady’s Work,
As of midnight on this day of October 7, 2025, three changes will be made to the recitation of the rosary:
1. In the Apostles’ Creed, the expression “I believe… in the holy Catholic Church” was a problem for many people. It is provisionally being replaced by “I believe… in the Holy Church of Christ”.
2. Since the Glory be to the Father is a Trinitarian prayer, it does not express our faith in the Quinternity. On the other hand, we cannot name the 5 Persons every time, as we do in the sign of the cross. That is why, based on the very words of Life of Love, it has been suggested that we say:
Glory and praise to You,
God who loves us and wants us in your Heart.
3. Finally, from the moment Mary the Divine and Marie-Paule are venerated as God, we can no longer ask them to “pray for us”. Who would they pray? That is why, when we address ourselves to Mary or Marie-Paule, under any title whatsoever, including the one O Lady of All Peoples, the traditional expression “pray for us” should be replaced by “We pray to you.”
These changes apply to all the rosaries recited at Spiri-Maria and in the meetings of the Work. They are intended to better reflect our faith while we wait for a more complete adaptation of the rosary and of the mysteries of the Rosary.
Let us continue to multiply our prayers under Marie-Paule’s gaze, with a view to her triumph and for the greater good of souls.
